Feelings towards Hydra

Hydra, one of the most beautiful and haunting works created by the amaazing Miyamoto Kano is gritty, and extremely heart warming. I read this series after reading Lovers and Souls which was another Magnificent work containing some Beautiful artworks. I did not plan reading it thinking it might affect me in the way more emotionally than Lovers and Souls. But I am glad I read it. It was real, a work portraying the lives of three high schools students as they they go through life, exploring its ups and downs, their sexuality and attraction towards each as well as suffering for the same. I loved the smooth running of the series through the various short stories and volumes. My favourite character out of the three would have to be Taira, for if he would have been there, the characters would not have reached to the position where they are now. His gritty, dark sense of humor and straightforward attitude is simply loveable. At the ending, Taira arranges a reunion among the four friends, Ryuu, Hitomi, Taira and Satou which was just captivating. The artwork with the snowfall background was simply so melancholic and nostalgic at the same time. It seems Taira might have arranged the reunion especially for Hitomi and Ryuu so that they can finally meet after a span of six years. Miyamoto Kano mentioned at the last page that she might later on create a work based on Hitomi and Ryuu for what happens to them after Hydra. Actually I am still waiting for that, hoping that she would create it someday, because though I am really satisfied with the ending, I am really curious to know what ultimately happens to them, for the central point of the whole series was there evolving relationship. Miyamoto Sensei please post a work based on Ryuu and Hitomi's future!!
